Review #2 – Holes

Holes by Louis Sachar

Holes is about a boy named STANLEY YELNATS. Stanley’s family has a history of bad luck . Beginning with his no good dirty rotten pig stealing great great grandfather and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I like Holes because it’s entertaining. His dad is an inventor, trying to figure out how to recycle old shoes. When the shoes fell on his head, since his father was working on something involving shoes, he thought it was destiny, and started running to his house. Then a police officer saw him running with the shoes and stops him. He gets sent away in Texas at camp green lake where you dig holes to build character.
